And another new week starts

Finally, I registered at Ossia Music School this morning!I decided to opt for the graded classical piano route over those crash courses. It might be tedious but I believe that my strong interest in piano for all these years is enough to support my decision. Kaiyi will sign up at Ossia too, soon, hopefully. Classes will start April onwards, sure to fill you guys in about my progress. Krist says that with my background I can probably opt to skip some grades but let's see how I progress before deciding =)
Yesterday, IT fair at Suntec. Truckloads of humans which got my blood boiling. I'm never one made for crowds; Mum warns me to steer clear ever since a fainting incident years back, but personally, I ain't worried so much about fainting but rather, hate being trapped in crowds. So immobile, and just so... irritating. Shoulder to shoulder, hip to hip, intentional and unintentional brushing of bodies. I'd rather not, and you won't find me there unless of course it's for something I'd die for (special food exhibitions, soft toys, Hacken Lee, etc) and I ain't got no choice.
I'm certainly one who gets irritated easily, and poor ZQ immediately kena-ed when we reach Suntec. I'M OK WITH ACCOMPANYING HIM THERE, he needed to get some stuff at the fair but I didn't expect that I just flared up because the crowd pissed me off... and prior to that, I already erupted as we were in a bus, with the aircon down, a vehicle poorly controlled by an obviously unhappy driver who had the stupid vehicle jerking countless times. And the traffic was slow and tormenting... totally... grrrrr.
Cut the story short, after everything was over, AGAIN, I started to feel guilty for throwing tantrums at ZQ. So the moral of the story is I should totally avoid crowds TOTALLY. I do not know what on earth is wrong with me, no one pushed me (if anyone did that bugger would've been dead), no one offended me, but I just hate the crowdy part, I just get impatient, and erm, unhappy. Tell me what condition this is? But of course, there are instances I remain OK despite a horrid crowd. But I think that happens once in every 100 times I get trapped in crowds.
Despite the crowd drama, our Saturday ended pretty alright. As planned w week ahead, we went for some alcohol at a 'nice' pub until I was all blurry and 'relaxed'. Sometimes, I admit missing the effect of alcohol on my nerves. I'm happy that I now drink for the right reasons as compared to the past phase of my life and how I used to put my life in 'danger'.
And drinking with ZQ? It's safe, romantic and relaxing.
Oh and before I forget, we also had the japanese fish red bean pancakes at Isetan Scotts (before the crowd drama); the best red bean pancakes! So generous with the azuki beans filling! The paste is so smooth and satisfying =) Went crazy when me and Jean saw them setting up the shop some days ago and am glad I got to eat it this year =) (I think they have these jap food fairs once or twice every year).
I planned to jog today, but changed my mind soon after. Felt a hint of guilt when I looked out of my bedroom window earlier and saw some joggers breeze by. I'm feeling the weight and discomfort (I usually feel this way if I miss exercise for few days in a row) yet I continued to snack on some crackers. This is truly one condition I can never control. Pre-menstrual snacking and severe lack of motivation to exercise. But I think it should be fine, allowing myself these few days of not exercising for next week I'm running with ZQ again and going to the gym with my colleagues (a real motivated batch!)
And so I hope my period comes and goes soon. Damn.
Ugly Betty tonight! Must watch! Its a shame it's aired once a week =(
