Sunday entry

Frankly, my blog is beginning to be extremely boring and I do apologize for that. Blogging has somehow became a responsibility - remember those days your English teacher scolded you for handing up a lousy composition with no effort put in? Well, this is how I feel sometimes... guilt for presenting bad entries. What you're about to read are more of desciptions of pictures taken by me of everything and everywhere.

Waffle & Ice cream shared by Kat and Jeff at Changing Appetites.
I get really bored and somewhat mad sometimes.

Attack of the doggies. FYI, that panda with the green top, I had it since my Primary school days =) It was something redeemed at an arcade then and my fav bear for ten thousand years thereafter.
An entry consisting of pictures taken on different occasions. I thought I'll probably do an entry of something, a topic, but I happened to open my pictures folder and saw so many 'orphan' pictures. I take pictures of so many things but fail to share them. This has got to be the best palce to share.
One of the many children's art work displayed at Jurong Library. I particularly liked this one:

Curry Favor serves the best Japanese cury in Singapore. At least, that's what most of my friends and myself feel. And so you've condemned Jap curries for the weird sweetness and strange texture. Try Curry Favor. The spice and sweetness is just perfect and the texture, awesome!

You should really try their tofu curry rice. It's something different from the regular katsu curries we have. Makes us feel rather jelat (because of the fried factor). Take the tofu curry in 'mild' spice and I promise you won't regret it!

Something me and my colleagues saw inside Stamford House. I wouldn't mind a furniture like that for my home:

Me and Shireen's dream - English tea sets. Fine porcelain teapots, cups and saucers with golden trims, so dainty and pretty. But really costly too. The guy at this 'cottage' shop told us the whole set costs $250 - $400+, I think that's for the full set of many many cups and spoons and creamer cups etc. I guess I'll just buy one teapot and a set of two cups and saucers.

Cute bun designs that don't really make sense. Or maybe, the objective is for them to look cute?

Barney's friend being squashed on the head...

Huge packet drinks outside North Point. I love it when companies do marketing like that. Either make these daily food stuffs we see damn big or super duper minature in size. I just get very fascinated and entertained like a child. And the best part is, they make the specs exactly like that of the real thing, with all the 'ingredients' and other fine details.
Munchies from Kim Gary at Vivo City:

That was one meal that made me close to vomiting after eating because I was SO STUFFED. I was nauseated throughout the entire journey home. I think it's the bread...
Giant lolly. Took this picture on another occasion at Vivo City. People enjoy blowing up food stuffs don't they?

I need to buck up and run more for the coming marathons. I've been running only once a week and that is such a let down!
For the SG marathon this Dec I signed up for the 10km again, for I know I can't make it for 21km. Mad ZQ is going for the 42km again and i really Kawtow to him.
After my Shape Run in Sept, I'm deciding if I should take up anything else... Great Eastern? Army Half? Vertical marathon? Any followers? Please let me know.
Some proper updates. Let's make this entry LIKE an entry. My Dad is still pissing me off and I don't know what to do with him. Work has been busy as usual, with endless things to solve and follow-up. This should be expected since I'm a one-man-show of my department. July 15 was a flop because of the bad timing. Heaven's will no. 1 came and Heaven's will no. 2 neutralized it. Sometimes, I don't know what message God is trying to send across to me.
BTW, I have become rather superstitious in the recent years and suddenly one morning I woke up feeling ridiculous for how I perceive things sometimes, for being superstitious - I don't walk under signboards, etc. Suddenly, I feel OLD and just, WRONG.
Last night I was telling ZQ how unwomanly I think I've become. I used to look rather presentable but now I haven't paid much attention to my appearance and this is BAD, for I am only 23 and these are the years to flourish with the most natural touch (Think, being 60 and going for botox and all to look young). Youth is given to one to make good use of, and youth happens only ONCE. Youth isn't just looking nice and presentable, but its also about using the energy to do the right things.
I have failed for I haven't made good use of the youth and energy I have now.
I am feeling sad too often, and complaining too much, without realizing how damaging this is to my young days.
I really don't want to regret by the time I hit 30, 40 and 50, and so on.
Regret is really the worst thing to happen to a human being.
But sometimes life gets a little confusing. If you do something and it results in any form of penalty, you regret. READ: IF ONLY I HAD NOT DONE IT.
If you DON'T do something and end up missing out on the positive outcome, you regret, too. READ: IF ONLY I HAD GONE AHEAD WITH IT.
One should not be impulsive, but procrastination kills too. Just how do we know which path to take?
Sigh, the stuff in life I just don't know how to overcome.
