Yeah right. The first sentence of the title is so NOT TRUE but the second one is SO, TOTALLY. =/
Sick at home, on a Friday!
As usual... instead of totally resting I was moving about, making the 'best' out of my unusual presence at home on a weekday to try and get more chores done.
Which is frankly, quite dumb, come to think of it, since the chores (especially my home's) can never, ever be finished. I am so behaving like a home bound housewife with no life. Perhaps I haven't reached the stage of having 'no life' but well, I don't have much life either. My mind is often occupied with 'housework thoughts'.
'Oh shit looks like it's gonna rain, did I bring in the clothes before I left?'
'...the floors are so dirty... they need a mop....'
'Need to scrub harder... the shower soap residue will remain on the bathroom tiles!'
'Gotta boil and top up the drinking water...'
'Need to clean the fridge...'
'...must soak this soak that...clean this... and that... scrub, wash, rinse...'
SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
Sigh. I may as well enroll myself to a maid agency.
Bro once told me, how would everyone live without me. I shrugged my shoulders, not knowing how to answer him...
Perhaps I should stop doing everything once and for all? My family 'misses' me for all the wrong reasons.
I admit it is quite a burden - stress at work plus daily heavy chores. Plus the occasional family 'squabbles'. Okay, 'squabbles' is a too nice way to put it. It's more fucked up than a harmless 'squabble'.
But maybe, blame in on the obessive compulsive disorder. It's getting worst, I keep thinking everywhere is dirty, and there's SO MUCH TO DO. Okay, let's not go there.
But I think I've had so much practise I do housework so fuckin' swift. Such that I still have that time to play with my toys...

My new rats. Been buying rats lately. Don't know why Ikea suddenly produced all the rat friends. But, I will surely show support because I'm norn in the year of the Rat! Hamsters are cool for me but not real drain rats of course... they give me the creeps.
Seriously, I can start a Noah's Ark. I've got ALL sorts of (stuffed) animals. Despite being so tight I still manage to buy all these supposedly labelled as 'nonsense' to others. But then again, most of my animals are very very affordable. (Excuses, excuses).
Well, I dunnnnno. They provide me with great comfort. I'm always in need of comfort and sometimes, not even my partner can satisfy the EVERY comfort I need. It's just not the same sometimes. I can just hug my softies and talk to them (not much, I'm not psycho) and then, doze off.

Made this suddenly and MMS-ed the pict to ZQ. =) Those are erasers I found in one of my drawers... Such a coincidence, six exactly!!
